Because we handle your most personal and professional communications, your privacy isn't a feature — it's the foundation. This policy explains exactly what we collect, how it's processed, and why you can trust us with your inbox.
Our AI & Privacy Commitment
To power Auto-Draft, Summarization, AI Priority sorting, and the Trobbly AI Chatbot, we use artificial intelligence — but under ironclad rules that put you first, always.
We never use your messages, emails, contacts, or search history to train our AI models or any third-party AI models. Ever.
Your data is strictly encrypted. AI features process information in an isolated, secure environment solely to serve you immediate results.
Data processed by our AI is ephemeral — bound strictly to your device/account. It is never pooled into a collective database.
Information We Collect
To provide you with a unified communication experience, we must collect and process certain information. We do so with strict minimization — only what is necessary.
A. Account Information
- ◆Authentication DataWhen you sign up, we collect your email address and password, which is securely hashed using industry-standard algorithms — we never store it in plain text.
- ◆Verification DataPhone numbers or email addresses used to receive OTP (One-Time Password) codes for account verification and password resets.
B. Integration & Communication Data
To aggregate your inboxes, Trobbly connects to third-party services via APIs and WebViews.
- ◆Auth TokensWe securely store OAuth tokens, API keys, and session data required to keep Trobbly connected to services like Slack, WhatsApp, Google, and others.
- ◆Message DataWe process message content, HTML/CSS for emails, voice notes, attachments (images, files, videos), and read receipts solely to display them in your Trobbly inbox.
- ◆MetadataTimestamps, sender/recipient email addresses, platform indicators, and thread IDs necessary to organize and route your conversations.
C. Device & App Usage Data
- ◆Device PermissionsWith your explicit consent, we access your Camera (video calls/photos), Microphone (voice notes/calls), and Storage (attachments). You can revoke any permission at any time via system settings.
- ◆App DiagnosticsWe collect error logs and crash reports to improve stability and performance — never linked to message content.

- ◆Core ServicesFetching, sending, and organizing messages across all your connected platforms in your unified inbox.
- ◆Send LaterProcessing your scheduled message requests to dispatch them at your specified dates and times — reliably and privately.
- ◆Smart FeaturesGenerating 1-3 auto-draft responses, creating summaries for threads with 20+ messages, and powering the AI Chatbot to answer queries about your conversations.
- ◆Security & Fraud PreventionVerifying your identity via OTP and monitoring for unauthorized login attempts to keep your account safe.
Third-Party Integrations
Trobbly acts as a bridge to third-party services — WhatsApp, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Gmail, LinkedIn, and more. This creates an important relationship with those platforms you should understand.
Your Relationship with Third Parties
When you connect a service in our Connections Manager, you are also subject to that specific platform's own Privacy Policy. Trobbly does not control how those platforms store or process your data on their end.
Data Passthrough Architecture
Trobbly processes data from these platforms according to their API Terms of Service. Where a platform does not support a feature — for example, Email does not support Video Calls — Trobbly dynamically disables that capability entirely, respecting both the platform's architecture and your experience.

- ◆Encryption in TransitAll data transmitted between your device, Trobbly's servers, and third-party APIs is encrypted using industry-standard TLS/SSL protocols. No exceptions.
- ◆Encryption at RestStored data — including API tokens and cached messages — is encrypted at rest using AES-256 or equivalent standards.
- ◆Data MinimizationWe only retain communication data strictly necessary to provide a seamless, rapid inbox experience. No hoarding, no surplus collection.
- ◆No Third-Party SellingWe do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal data, messages, or metadata to advertisers, data brokers, or any other party. Full stop.
Your Rights & Choices
You maintain full, immediate control over your connections and data. These are not requests you have to file — they are actions you take directly in the app.
Revoke Trobbly's access to any third-party service at any time via the Connections Manager. We immediately delete the respective API tokens and purge all cached data for that service.
Delete your Trobbly account permanently. This action immediately erases your credentials, revokes all connected API tokens, and deletes your synchronized communication history from our servers.
Revoke hardware permissions — Microphone, Camera, Storage — at any time through your iOS or Android system settings. Trobbly will adapt its available features accordingly.
Contact us at any time to request a full account of what data we hold about you. We are committed to full transparency and will respond within 30 days.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as we add new integrations or features to Trobbly. The internet moves fast — our policy will keep pace transparently.
